News alertWhat an AI you can prove is worth

Senior AI expert network · By admission

Enterprise AI practitioners. Admitted by their peers.

Microsoft, Salesforce, Google Cloud, SAP, ServiceNow, Workday: the network only admits practitioners who have taken these platforms' AI modules into production. You describe your project, we introduce two or three members assessed by a peer, and the one you choose joins your team.

The first conversation is free. No commitment until you choose the member who will join you.

Engagement

The format follows the problem. Not the other way round.

One framework agreement. One invoice a month. Wherever the member is based.

Senior expert in your squad

A senior AI expert joins your product team and drives one AI use case sprint by sprint, from scoping to production.

  • Agile sprints
  • From 3 months
  • Onsite, hybrid or remote

Dedicated AI squad

An architect and two to five engineers from the network, committed to one business outcome and delivering in short iterations.

  • Outcome agreed upfront
  • Squad lead included
  • Demo every sprint

Fractional architect

A principal architect from the network, two to eight days a month, owning design authority.

  • Monthly retainer
  • Design authority
  • Vendor-neutral

Our approach

Scope. Select. Start.

  1. 1

    Scope

    30 minutes

A conversation with a practice lead to understand what is at stake: modules, seniority, location, start date, budget.

  2. 2

    Select

    Admitted by peers

Two or three members of the network, each with a written peer assessment. You meet the ones you shortlist.

  3. 3

    Start

    Monthly review

We handle the contract. A monthly review then brings you and the member together. If the fit is wrong in the first 30 days, another member takes over at no sourcing cost.

What sets us apart

What procurement requires. What delivery needs.

Found where experts work

The best specialists are rarely on job boards. We find them in user groups, community forums, meetups and conference talks.

How to join the network

Peer-led vetting

A senior practitioner of the same platform interviews every candidate. Credentials verified. Two enterprise references.

Contract-ready

Framework agreement, NDA, IP assignment and GDPR terms, ready to sign.

AI Act literate

Members briefed on the obligations that apply to their scope: risk, logging, oversight.

Cross-border

Europe, the Middle East and Africa. Contracted locally where needed. Invoiced once.

Vendor-neutral

We resell no licences and depend on no vendor. What our teams deliver can be overseen in Cockpit, with evidence any third party can verify.

What we believe

Community first. Expertise follows.

The best specialists on a platform do not answer job ads. They answer other people's questions, share what they have learned at conferences, publish their code and earn the recognition of their peers. That is where we look for them, and what we weigh before titles and degrees.

We value experts who come from the following communities

  • Salesforce

Trailblazer Community, the Salesforce MVP programme, Dreamforce and local user groups

  • Microsoft

Microsoft Tech Community, the Microsoft MVP programme, Microsoft Ignite

  • Google Cloud

Google Developer Experts, Google Cloud Community, Google Cloud Next

  • SAP

SAP Community, the SAP Champions programme, SAP TechEd

  • ServiceNow

ServiceNow Community, the ServiceNow Community MVP programme, Knowledge

  • Workday

    Workday Community, Workday Rising

An expert recognised by peers has already passed the hardest test: the one set by people who do the same job. We add our own: a technical interview led by a senior peer, verified certifications and two enterprise references.

These communities and programmes belong to their respective vendors. We name them to say where we look: 56North Experts is not affiliated with any of them.

Pascal Mennesson

Who is behind it

Founded by an executive who grew a firm to more than 1,000 consultants.

56North Experts is led by Pascal Mennesson, founder of Maltem Consulting Group, which he grew from 2001 to more than 1,000 consultants in 12 countries before its exit. He knows what the right senior expert is worth on an enterprise programme, and what the wrong one costs.

The 56North platform

Measure the AI you run. Prove you control it.

The 56North Cockpit lists the AI systems in service across your company, scores them on five dials (reliability, costs, AI Act evidence, usage, reference data), spots when one of them changes, and gathers the dated, sealed evidence the regulation requires.

FAQ

What clients ask before they commit.

Is this AI staff augmentation?

Contractually, a senior expert works inside your team for a defined period. In practice, we run it as agile consulting: a clear business objective, short sprints, a demo at every iteration and a monthly review of the value delivered. The network handles selection, peer assessment, contracts and follow-up.

How is this different from hiring a systems integrator?

A systems integrator sells a fixed project with its own team and methodology. We do AI only, never classic integration: named senior experts work inside your team in short iterations, so you keep ownership of design decisions and knowledge.

Can 56North oversee an AI system its own teams delivered?

Yes. Cockpit oversees it like any other AI system, with sealed evidence that any third party can verify. One reserve: on a system our teams delivered, 56North does not issue an independent third-party opinion itself. If you need one, an external auditor can establish it from the Cockpit evidence.

Are you a partner or reseller of these vendors?

No. We are an independent network. We do not resell licences, which lets our members recommend what fits your context rather than what a vendor is pushing this quarter.
